2016 Internet Favourites

If I'm not at work, the gym or asleep then chances are I'm on the internet, probably youtube, and have been for a good few hours. I love discovering, and then subsequently becoming addicted to, new content creators. Last year I came across a load of new creators that I absolutely love, so I thought I'd share them all with you lovely lot.

Towards the end of last year Collection, a seriously underrated high street brand and incidentally one of my favourites, released a range of matte liquid lipsticks. Now I've talked about them a few times before (read more about that here, here and here) but I thought I would go into a bit more detail: a. so you could see the full range and b. because I am obsessed with them and you should be too.

The Girl Boss Playlist

Music is pretty epic, it's one of the fastest ways to change your mood. Don't believe me? Put Kiss' Crazy, Crazy Nights on and try not to dance. I dare you. Some days I need to feel like I run the damn world - we all have those days right? -  and on those days this is the playlist I listen to. I'm not gonna lie there are some pretty odd choices, including a song from the Trolls soundtrack - it is amazing though-  but they're all songs that get me super pumped up and ready to take on the world.  So without further ado, because I really bloody hate trying to describe music in any kind of detail, here's my Girl Boss playlist.

2016 Beauty Favourites

I always take a break from blogging over Christmas to really enjoy the festive season with my loved ones, watch multiple viewings of The Grinch whilst eating all the chocolate oranges, cheese and posh crisps I can lay my greedy hands on, because Christmas.

January Goals 2017

With all the goal setting I've done already this year you would think that I'd have run out of goals by now. But I haven't, so let's talk about the things I would like to achieve this month.

What I Learned in 2016

I think we can all agree that 2016 was a bit of a shit year. Brexit happened, followed swiftly by #Breadxit when The Great British Bake Off ended - that one really hurt! - , Donald Trump became president - which sucks for everyone who is not a rich, white man - and countless amazing people have died, including Carrie Fisher & Debbie Reynolds sob! It was not an easy year and I think the world let out a collective cheer when the clock struck 12 and Saturday 31st December 2016 became Sunday 1st January 2017.

New Year's Resolutions 2016 Review & Goals for 2017

Last year I kept my goals simple (read more about that here). I wanted to be healthy, be happy and to travel, and for the most part I stuck to them - a week in Sunny Beach counts as travelling, right?!

Happy New Year you absolute babes! I hope you all had an amazing, and safe, New Year's Eve and are ready to take this new year head on. This years I was at a big family party at my uncle and aunty's house, and I was really overdressed but you have to make an effort at New Years' don't you? I was really happy with my make up so I thought I would share it with you lovely lot.
